Shift360 Championship Edition - Perfect Run!

Just uploaded a video onto the Trance Development YouTube Channel for Shift360 Championship Edition. A Complete Perfect Run from Level 1 to 16, a walkthrough you could say, showing you that each level is possible and also ways to get around the traps. This obviously is only one way to get from start to finish of each level, I'm sure you all have your own ways! But check it out, lemme know what you guys think and leave a LIKE!

Trance Development moves into Live Streaming!

That's right! Today I updated the Trance Development Website with a new page for Live Streaming, with plans to start streaming my own games along with anything else I feel like playing. I've embedded the Stream Channel here from Twitch TV. Naturally the Channel will be available on the Website and on Twitch, links available below, although I am fairly certain that this post will eventually be forgotten... I just like embedding things!

Shift360 Championship Edition OUT NOW!

Thats right, Shift360 Championship Edition is now officially available for download NOW! After months of tinkering, testing and getting in trouble for missing English Deadlines (I'm such a good student...) Shift360 Championship Edition is ready to download!


You might be asking me whats new? Well, I'll tell you whats new!

- Improved Physics and Collision Events
- New set of Graphics remastered using Adobe Photoshop CS6
- 6 new hazards, including the Ice Zone and the Re-size Line
- 10 new Character Costumes to customise your game
- All new levels and a few re-mastered from the original Shift360
- An Online Scoreboard to compare your score to the rest of the world

Shift360 Championship Edition Online Scores!!

That's right! I've managed to pull my noob-level knowledge of coding together with the help of many tutorials and 3 different providers, to bring an Online Scoreboard to Shift360 Championship Edition!

Once you have finally run out of lives and built up an awesome score, SHARE IT with all the other Shift360 Champions in the Online Scoreboard feature. I am quite pleased with this, took ages to get working! Below I have tested embedding the Scoreboard to see how it looks, if I like it I'll add it to the Shift360 Championship Edition page on the Trance Development website.



Credit for providing this service goes to Made With Clockwork, and it also tells me how many times the game has been opened and played! How awesome!

Along with this there are also now 10 complete levels ready to be played!! The Games Structure has been simplified slightly and the Campaign Mode has been removed, but on the plus side it runs a lot smoother and goes on endlessly! Yay replay value (I hope)! Personally I am really looking forward to the final release of this, and I can't wait to see what you guys think of it!

Re-Launch Complete!

The Trance Development Re-Launch is officially complete! The new homepage is available absolutely anywhere for everyone to enjoy all the new content and the latest games.

So there it is, the new artwork for Trance Development! I think the Wings looks much cooler than the whole Chrome and Fire thing that I had going on before. Plus I much prefer the Blue, Blue's my favourite colour! The Techno-style accents link pretty well with the whole Games Website thing. Trance Development Re-launch

Today is the day I started working on the next biggest thing for Trance Development, a brand new website! Packed full of loads of new features and content and stuff to click on that spins and flashes, I've got big plans for this! I'll keep the same domain name, but when its finished moving it from my old hosting package to a new one might take a day or two, but when it comes back online you won't know what hit you! 

Work on Shift360 Championship Edition has been put on hold for now, since the next two weeks of Easter Holidays is planned out for me... Media Coursework, ICT Coursework and getting this website to the best standard it can be. The Coursework bit isn't that fun, but its gotta be done! This blog will act as the News Feed for Trance Development, with regular updates and tonnes of awesome stuff flying around as well for you guys to get involved in.

I'm sticking this post up more as a starting point, this is where it all begins again. Trance Development used to be a portfolio for uni, but now its turning into so much more! I know its really cheesy, but I wanted to post this video up as a bit of motivation for me, and maybe you guys as well if you ever need it, its awesome! A Teacher of mine showed this video in an assembly today, and it really meant something to me so here it is.
